How many people does it hold?
Occupancy load for Windsor Hall is 185, however the deck may be set up to accommodate more, pending weather.

Can we bring in our own caterer and drinks?
Absolutely!! We will provide the tables, chairs and space. You, the renter, will be responsible for all food, beverages, and decorations. DMRFC does not hold a liquor license.

When is Windsor Hall available for rental?
Windsor Hall is available anytime outside of the rugby seasons (Spring: Saturdays from Mid-March through Mid-May, Fall: Saturdays from Mid-August through first weekend in November)

Can we have a band or DJ?
Yes. The only requirement is that a noise permit needs to be applied for through the City of West Des Moines at least 2 weeks prior to the event. Cost is approximately $20.

How much does the hall cost?
The standard wedding reception cost of the hall is $600 for a 5 hour block of time. Each additional hour is $100 and at the discretion of the clubhouse manager. This fee includes a cleaning fee of $100. Please inquire about other rental activities.

How many tables do you have?
We have an abundance of 6-8' banquet tables. We do not have round tables at this time.

Do you provide any tablecloths or linens?
We do not provide tablecloths or linens. These are the responsibility of the renter.

Is a kitchen available?
Yes. Our kitchen includes a 3 Barrel Keg Refrigerator, 2 Refrigerators, a Deep Freeze and 3 sink cleaning system. We also have a fountain pop machine that is included free of charge and an ice machine.

When can we start decorating for our party?
This depends on events surrounding your scheduled event. Typically, we will give you a clubhouse key up to 1 week prior to your event. This is to allow you to bring in decorations and setup at your convenience. A schedule will be worked out with the Clubhouse Manager for accountability reasons.
